When setting up an environment in Jelastic you can choose the version of Java you want to run there (JDK 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, OpenJDK 7, 8 or OpenJ9 0.8.0) and switch it afterwards.
Note: Currently, JDK 10 supprort is provided for the Tomcat 8 / 9, TomEE, Maven and SpringBoot stacks only.
To do this, follow the instruction:1. Log into Jelastic dashboard and click the New Environment button.
Within the opened wizard, switch to the Java tab, pick the desired application server and engine versions (as it is shown in the image above).2. Also, you can change the version of Java in the already existing environment through redeploying the appropriate containers:
Just, select the appropriate Tag (software stack and JDK versions) and click Redeploy.Confirm an action within the appeared pop-up and wait a few minutes for the changes to be applied.
