When setting up an environment in Jelastic you can choose the version of Java you want to run there (JDK 6, JDK 7 or JDK 8) and switch it afterwards.To do this, follow the instruction:
1. Log into Jelastic
2. Click the Create Environment button.
3. Choose your Java application server and pick the desired Java version in one of the shown ways:
You can also change the version of Java in the already existing environment:
2. In the Environment Topology dialog box, change the JDK version in the dropdown list to the one you need. Click Apply.
Note: After Java version changing application server(s) will be restarted.
