Switching between Java Versions

When setting up an environment in Jelastic you can choose the version of Java you want to run there (JDK 6, JDK 7 or JDK 8) and switch it afterwards.

To do this, follow the instruction:

1. Log into Jelastic

2. Click the Create Environment button.

3. Choose your Java application server and pick the desired Java version in one of the shown ways:

You can also change the version of Java in the already existing environment:

1. Click the Change environment topology button next to the environment you want to modify.

2. In the Environment Topology dialog box, change the JDK version in the dropdown list to the one you need. Click Apply

Note: After Java version changing application server(s) will be restarted.
